Fair Trial for Girgis in Egypt

Dear Sir/ Madam

Coptic community in Egypt and all over the world urge you to interfere for a fair trial for Girgis Baroumi Girgis in Egypt.

Girgis was charged with rape on Nov. 21, 2009 and criminal court proceedings began on Jan. 19, 2010 in Egypt.

We believe that charges were brought against Girgis have no foundations. We believe it is part of systematic persecution against copts in Egypt. We have deep concerns over his jail conditions as well as over a fair trial for Girgis in Egypt.

We ask all freedom loving people to intervene for fair trial for Girgis.
