Seeking Protection for Egyptian Christian
man and his family
July 9, 2010
In February 2010, a group of 3 Islamic
terrorists assaulted a Christian man, Zareef
Khalaf Abd-el Messih, and attempted to
sexually assault his wife, Rasha, in
El-Minya, Egypt. Later on that day one of
the terrorist passed away from a heart
attack. Egyptian security forces did not
arrest any of the terrorists rather they
arrested Zareef and accused him of murder of
the terrorist who passed away. Zareef is in
jail now. His family is in hide fearful of
retaliation threat made by the terrorists
and their families. Egyptian security forces
in El-Minya, Egypt are collaborating with
Islamic terrorists to terrorize this
Christian family as well as ethnic
cleansing.
In a video interview with Hope Sat TV
Zareef’s family pleaded for his release and
for protection to the family from
terrorists’ threats. The interviews are
available on www.Hopesat.tv.
Hope Sat TV and Christian minority in Egypt
call upon the government of Egypt to
exercise rule of law by thoroughly
investigating the severe offenses made
against father Zareef and his wife. We urge
Egyptian courts to justly prosecute
convicted perpetrators.
Sincerely,
Hope Sat TV (and attached)
